Community
Christ Church is more than a building; we are part of the fabric of Biddulph Moor.
Part of the Village
Since 1863, Christ Church has been at the centre of life in Biddulph Moor: not just a place of worship, but a gathering point for the whole community. Baptisms, weddings, funerals, concerts, fairs and quiet evenings of prayer have all taken place within these walls.
We believe the church exists for everyone in the village, not just those who attend on Sundays. As part of our National Lottery Heritage Fund project, we are actively working to extend the community, foster a sense of collective ownership and pride, and reimagine the church as a shared sanctuary and centre for learning, celebration and community growth.
If you have an idea for how we could serve the community better, or memories and stories to share, we would love to hear from you.
